Boil Water Notice Rescinded Saturday, July 22, 2023 Hays WCID 1 and Hays WCID 2. On Thursday, July 20, 2023 the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required our public water systems Hays WCID 1 (PWS# TX1050137) and Hays WCID 2 (PWS# TX1050148) to issue a Boil Water Notice due to (WTCPUA) water provider being unable to meet high demand and maintain system pressure in Belterra subdivision. Our system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality and has provided TCEQ with testing results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling as of Saturday, July 22, 2023.
