Notice: Stage 2 watering restrictions to be rescinded

Belterra Residents and Water Customers,

The WTCPUA has informed us that Stage 2 drought restrictions will be rescinded on November 15th. We will be returning to Stage 1 restrictions, allowing for outdoor watering twice per week on designated watering days.

Please note that use of automatic irrigation systems and hose-end sprinklers is permitted only from midnight to 10 AM and 7 PM to midnight on designated watering days under Stage 1 restrictions. You may refer to the District website (www.hayswcid.org) to determine the designated watering days for your residence or business and to review other Stage 1 restrictions.

Though Stage 1 restrictions permit outdoor watering twice per week, we would like to remind all residents that turning irrigation systems off during cooler months will conserve drinking water for future use and help reduce residential wastewater bills, which are based on winter-averaged water use.
