Hays County WCID No. 1 & 2 Special Message

Due to the significant impact of the storm, the WCID has prioritized cleanup of highly affected areas first (roadways, sidewalks, trails and parks). As of now, residents are responsible for the clean up of their individual properties.

The Board of Directors will meet on their scheduled meeting dates (Hays 1 on 2/9 & Hays 2 on 2/16) to assess and discuss further actions. We are currently working with TDS to assist with the pickup of debris and will provide updates as soon as information becomes available.

Dumping of Yard Waste and Debris

Dumping in greenbelts, common areas and easement lots is prohibited and in direct violation of district policy. You could be subject to fines and/or legal remedies.

Parks and Trails

For your safety, please use extreme caution while using the Belterra trails and damaged parks until they have been repaired.
