Temporary Closure – Belterra Pond (Duck Pond)

Belterra Pond, located at the corner of Belterra Drive and Trinity Hills—commonly known as the Duck Pond—will be temporarily closed to the public beginning Thursday, January 15, 2026.

Starting on this date, maintenance equipment and work crews will be on site. Certain areas will be fenced off for safety. Please do not enter restricted areas or interfere with equipment or workers while work is underway.

The project is expected to last approximately 8–9 weeks. This temporary closure is necessary to allow for maintenance and dredging, which will improve the overall performance, and longevity of the pond.

The contractor will utilize a process that does not require draining the pond, ensuring that the ducks, turtles, and fish can continue to use the pond during the project.

We kindly ask all residents to respect posted signage and avoid closed areas. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we complete these important improvements.
